NHIT Data Fusion Center®

The NHITData Fusion Center, a collaboration between NHIT, AWS, and Tyler Technologies, revolutionizes data utilization. The DFC offers intricate insights into Social Determinants of Health (SDoH) by aggregating de-identified, publicly available data and tools. With support from Amazon Web Services, including credits for NHIT’s Care Campaign in Puerto Rico and the USVI, and the development of the NHIT Data Fusion, this partnership goes beyond transactions; it’s a strategic investment in community health.

NHIT INNOVATION HUB

The NHIT Innovation Hub initiative is designed to harness the capabilities of the NHIT Data Fusion Center and the NHIT Industry Coalition with the goal of shaping a diverse future workforce in Health IT. This endeavor seeks to foster innovation to address the nation’s most critical challenges. NHIT is engaging in collaborations with local and federal government entities, healthcare providers, academic institutions, and technology partners. The Hub’s mission includes developing a state-of-the-art, next-generation data fusion center. This cutting-edge facility will utilize the latest advancements in data sourcing, data science, artificial intelligence, analytics, and visualization to provide actionable insights. These insights, derived from real-world data, will guide the allocation of resources and the implementation of interventions.

The Alliance

NHIT and Sanitas USA join forces to redefine healthcare in underserved communities. With a shared commitment to social justice and health equity, this partnership aims to provide innovative and compassionate care, empowering communities for a healthier future.

NHIT INDUSTRY COALITION

Sponsored by the American Medical Association (AMA), the NHIT Industry Coalition stands as a consortium of industry frontrunners united in a mission to elevate the production of health. With a sharp focus on innovation within minority workforces and technologies advancing care delivery, our collective vision revolves around empowering entrepreneurs to secure venture capital, thereby driving progress towards equitable healthcare and enhanced outcomes in underserved communities.

Telehealth Equity Coalition

TEC, launched in February 2021 by NHIT and Hims & Hers, aims to foster inclusive telehealth practices nationwide. Now a national force with a presence in all 50 states, TEC includes over 200 member organizations spanning Washington DC, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Cameroon, South America, and the Asia-Pacific region. Leveraging the NHIT Data Fusion Center, TEC transforms public data into actionable strategies, driving telehealth equity globally. Join us in creating a future where telehealth serves every community.

NHIT CARE CAMPAIGN

In 2017, NHIT launched the NHIT Care Campaign® in response to Hurricanes Irma and Maria, aiming to rebuild health safety nets in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Through collaboration with supporting partners and engagement with stakeholders, webinars, and listening sessions, NHIT has led efforts to shape a resilient healthcare ecosystem. This collective endeavor resulted in the approval of $14,700,000 by HHS CMS on October 7, 2019, establishing the USVI Health Information Exchange (HIE).
